Learn something new in hands-on sessions at the fair Plan your day ★ New Make and Take Class For the small cost of a kit, you can learn from the experts and make and take home a new project in one-hour classes. Program runs daily at the fair. September 5 – 8, 2013 27 11am Posh Beaded Necklace Scarves, Niki, Posh Pendants. Using Posh pendants, beads & scarves, you will make two different styles of beaded scarves, Perfect for all ages, lots of colours available. Kit cost $35. Book at Stand D04. 12noon ★ Silk Ribbon Embroidery, Helen Dafter. Create a delicate spray of lavender with silk ribbon and in the process learn the art of perfect French knots every time! The bonus in this class is a cute little flower based on the French knot and so useful. Kit cost $24. Book at Stand B04. 1pm ★ Learn to Make Unusual Crochet Bullion Stitches, Prudence Mapstone. All the tips you need to know to easily be able to make the tricky crochet bullion stitch. Kit includes handpainted cotton yarn in your choice of colours, crochet hook and notes. Kit cost $30. Book at Stand B21. 2pm ★ Silken Flower Fairy, Helen Dafter. Use hand dyed Hanah silk to create a gorgeous little flower fairy – use her to decorate your scissors or create a fairy harem to decorate your Christmas tree – sew simple! Kit cost $16.
