THE VISITOR REGISTRATION PROCESS EXPLAINED All visitors to the Show need to be registered to attend. We strongly recommend that visitors register prior to attending the Show to ensure smooth access onto the Show floor. When promoting to your database, here are some things you might like to do to ensure your customers and prospects are granted access to the Show: −−Use our VIP nomination system – this is the ideal opportunity to ensure your most valuable customers and prospects are registered for the Show −−Include a registration form with your mailings. Contact our marketing team if you would like us to send you some −−Include a link to the registration page of the Show website in your electronic communications MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE Research has shown companies who pre-promote before a Show achieve better results. That’s because around 76% of visitors decide which exhibitors are on their ‘must-see’ list before they arrive at the Show. Coupled with this fact, pre-promotion can increase traffic to your stand by around 33%. Visitors normally have limited time at an exhibition and want to maximise their experience - you need to make sure you are on the visitors’ must-see list. There are a number of tools offered by Fair Events (most of which are free) to help increase your stand traffic and maximise the results of your investment! PREPARATION AND PLANNING SUPPORT Exhibitips - We have a great response from our exhibitors and partners to our monthly newsletter -Exhibitips. Exhibit Success Workshops – introduced in 2011, these free workshops give you practical, hands-on advice from Fair Events’ Gary Fitz-Roy on how to make the most of your exhibition investment. Workshops are held throughout Australia during the year. Our sales team can advise you when the next workshop will be held in a city near you. In this workshop you will also receive our free Participation Planner – the secret to success is good planning. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or exhibiting for the first time, this ultimate planner serves as a great way to reconfirm why you are exhibiting, what your goals are and how exhibiting will deliver your company objectives and profit. MARKETING SUPPORT To help exhibitors achieve the best results possible by pre-promoting to customers, we provide extensive promotional support for each Show, including: DIRECTORY ADVERTISING WEBLINKS AND ECARDS Every exhibitor receives a free listing on the Show website. Listings can also be upgraded for a small fee to include a hyperlink to your company website, to encourage contact-building before the Show. Free web buttons are also available to use on your own website to promote your involvement at the Show. Designed for you to send to your customers, free ecards are an easy and effective way to remind everyone on your database to visit you at the Show. FREE PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL Send a personal invitation for the Show to your key customers. Free promotional flyers and invoice stickers are produced for our exhibitors to order and use for their mailing lists. Registration forms can also be requested to be included in your mailings. VIP NOMINATIONS All exhibitors have the opportunity to nominate their top clients to be registered to attend the Show. We send an invitation on your behalf to everyone you nominate, automatically pre-registering them for the Show. MATCH ‘N’ MEET All exhibitors have the opportunity to use our free online appointment system, creating a connection between your company and the visitor prior to the Show opening. Match ‘N’ Meet also makes the visitor feel more involved in the event. For many busy people who are juggling business and family commitments, the assurance of guaranteed quality time with the exhibitor may be the factor in confirming their decision to attend.
